We’re On The Right Track for RP Blogger Challenge 2014
Singapore, 13 February 2014 - We will be one of the 19 blogs participating in Blogger Challenge 2014 on the 19th of February. The competition aims to provide Digital Writing students like ourselves with an opportunity to improve on and showcase our skills in writing exciting content for a diverse audience.

Mysara Aljaru, a RP student who interned at TODAY, said: “The Blogger Challenge helped me to improve my online writing skills. This proved very useful for my internship because I’m required to write for TODAY’s online news site everyday.”

The judges for this contest will be three renowned local bloggers, namely Alfred Siew from Techgoondu, Bryan Choo from TheSmartLocal and Cheryl Tay, the well known female automotive photojournalist/blogger.

Why We Are Here
We provide alternative routes for public transport to get to places. We discover the cheapest, scenic and fastest routes for Singapore commuters. Our content is generated through our own adventures and experiences.

We Are A Special Blog
Like many of you, we were once frequent users of route providers and apps such as Gothere and Google Maps. But we eventually realized that these route providers do not provide us with details of the journey.

Our blog resolves this very issue that we all faced before. Today, we are the first and only public transport blog in Singapore that provide readers with extra contents which include:
  • Personal experiences/opinions throughout the journey.
  • Price and expected timing - along with suggestion based on different needs.
  • Photographs of our journey including crowds, public transport modes etc.
  • Unusual tips for public transport.
  • Behind the scenes/trivia on public transport.

Mr Jefferson Phua, a retiree who worked with SMRT for 26 years, said: “I find this blog a truly refreshing  and unique experience on public transport. It definitely can be beneficial to commuters as they cannot just rely on the estimated time to get to their destinations; they have to know the traffic situation as well.”

Here are some of our blog posts!

Now that you know you know more about our blog, we would appreciate it if you could support us and boost our chances of succeeding in the Blogger Challenge by sharing our blog with others. Lastly, don’t forget to contact us if you have any inquiries.
