SMRT Buses Take Up A New Look

First of all, we apologise to you guys for the delay in our posts as we were have been caught up with various school assignments. While we try to come out with new posts involving our partners and also follow up on our little research in RP, here’s a quick fun fact for your reading pleasure!

   

New livery for SMRT Buses!                                                                                                             

It has been almost two weeks since the first few buses spotting the new design were released by SMRT. So, have you seen it for yourself yet?

I, personally feel that the bus design looks great and the colour choice is also better than before. While the design may not be as attractive to some, here’s my reason why I prefer this design compared to the one they had previously:

• Simple but colourful design, with corporate colours included.

• Buses look cleaner with a darker colour such as grey.

Did You Know?

SMRT Buses were once known as Trans-Island Bus until the name was finally changed in 2004. Ever since they are known as SMRT Buses, this is the first time they have changed the livery of the buses. Not only that, perhaps, you may even spot the similarity of the new livery when looking at SMRT's cabs.
