About Us!

EDITOR: ELGIN
Simply put, I am a curious person who enjoys writing. I love penning down my thoughts in words and sharing my discoveries with others. And when these two come together, it’s being part of this blogging team. Why? Because I’ll be able to discover the different routes that leads to a destination and writing about them in this blog!

As the editor for this blog and I am in charge of ensuring the organisation of posts and updates. I also make sure that they are presentable and free of any grammatical and spelling errors.

Other than that, I am currently the Community editor in my school’s publication, Republican Post and I aspire to be a journalist in future.

SUB-EDITOR: AZREEN
Throughout my stay in Singapore, I have moved a total of three times. So you can tell that I am very reliant on public transport to get to different places all over Singapore. I value the ease of public transport and this translates into my passion for the topic of this blog. I enjoy discovering new experiences and better routes to get to places.

As the Sub Editor, I will be the one ensuring that the blog stays rich in content. I also help to manage the blog. To me, engaging the audience and producing quality work is crucial for the blog too!

CHIEF DESIGNER: ZAIBA
Loud. Passionate. Straight Forward. I am grateful for my bubbly personality because it opens doors to opportunities for me. I have a strong passion in design work and literature. Growing up in a close-knitted family, I have learnt the importance of love and respect. As an independent Aquarius, it has allowed me to widen my passion in the design field.

I started designing during my first year in polytechnic using Microsoft Word and this was where I discovered my interest in design. To explore deeper into design, I took the risk of learning to use Adobe InDesign all by myself. Subsequently, I started learning Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Aside from that, I am also the Deputy Chief Designer for my school’s publication, Republican Post. I hope to extend my skills and knowledge on design onto this humble blog of ours!

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER: EMMANUEL
I love travelling and have taken many pictures to capture memories of it. I am a keen explorer; willing to explore new routes to reach my destination. I take the public transport daily. Although I wish I had my own car. For the record, I got my driving licence within three months. BEAT THAT!

As an aspiring journalist, I am currently the Deputy Online/News Editor of my school’s student-run publication, Republican Post. I am also a writer for Red Sports, an online news site focusing on Singapore sports.

In my free time, I find myself putting on my running shoes for a jog around my neighbourhood. Sometimes, I get lost but that’s when I might stumble on hidden gems which I enjoy sharing with others. And that’s what I’m going to do here; if I come across any, I’ll definitely be sharing them with you!

WRITER, PHOTOGRAPHER- MEISI
According to most people I know, I can be pretty LOUD. I can’t exactly help myself, but I embrace it! I have always been an inquisitive child, constantly bugging my parents by asking countless questions about anything and everything in the world around me. WHAT? HOW? WHY? (Yes. I was that child.)

As the writer of this blog, I will be in charge of writing articles for the blog. I am a self-professed ‘Grammar Nazi’ and I will make sure that the writing in the blog be as precise and flaw-free as possible. In my opinion, nothing can be worse than bad English.

Watch this space as we try to find out more faster and effective ways of travel in Singapore using  public transport! :)
